Jon Boutell leads the South City Blues Band with his strong 
guitar and vocal presence. Recently having migrated from 
Ventura California, John and his lovely wife Catherine live 
in San Carlos where John is a Systems Engineer as his 
daytime job.    
John Lull, the fabulous tenor saxophone player for the 
South City Blues Band, is the person most people see 
and remember when they watch us perform.  John has 
been with the band longer than any of us and is most 
associated with the group's look and feel.  He is our 
soul leader.
              
           
      
Here's John Lull soloing at the Little Fox jam session in Redwood City on a recent 
Wednesday evening.  We strongly encourage all our fans to check this out! We are
all participants at this weekly event that sees some of the best blues talent in 
Northern California, or anywhere else for that matter, compete and combine.
 
Norm DeCarlo is our drummer, back-up vocalist and web 
master.  A man of many talents his art work can be seen 
at several bay area art galleries. You can learn more

Ray Figueroa is not only one of the best dressed musicians 
in the Northern California Blues scene but he is also one of 
the best bassists around, in any genre.  Ray is a designer 
and an engineer.  In his work he designs medical devices 
for various bio-tech firms in the bay area.

when so many good looking fans 
come out to see us.

We had the priviledge of playing a wedding 
gig recently at the Los Altos Country Club 
where John's fine threads and debonaire 
demeanor could be appreciated.
      
   
 
 
        
Here we are performing outdoors for some great folks who held a party after a kayak race in Half Moon Bay.  Typical Northern California
weather patterns made for a chilly but fun afternoon.
    
   
  
WOW, we sure had fun at the Mojo Lounge
5th anniversary party where we made our
debut at that venerable club helping owner
Dennis Briggs (below right) to celebrate in 
style. We had the fabulous "Gino Bambino"
